Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars told NFL Network that he does not regret questioning Cutler's toughness via Twitter. Jones-Drew was overly critical of the Bears' QB during the NFC Championship game on Twitter. This seems to have pissed off a lot of Bears fans wanting the RB to rescind his statement. Jones-Drew stated he would not apologize for his statements.
“I don’t regret anything I do,” Jones-Drew said. “You think about everything you put out there. I’m not going to be one of those guys to say, ‘I shouldn’t have done it.’ Because I did it. I knew what I was doing when I tweeted it. I just didn’t know that many people were following me at the time.”
The tweet in question from MJD was "All im saying is that he can finish the game on a hurt knee...I played a whole season with one."
Well, you see, the problem with your statement is that..umm....you didn't.
MJD missed the last 2 games of the season with a leg injury. There is a lot of hostility in Bears' nation right now towards the Jaguars RB. Personally, I cannot get over how funny the entire situation is. An injured RB, watching the playoffs from home, calls into question the toughness of a starting quarterback playing in the NFC Championship. Maurice had the luxury of watching from his warm home, on his couch that January day. Remember that. He will be watching the 2011-2012 playoffs from the same spot.
